3/30/09 - To Our Valued Clients: Regarding the pending 4/1/09 Conficker/Downadup computer worm threat that has been widely reported in all media outlets over the past two days: The proactive approach and best practice preparation for this current threat is to make sure all Windows Security updates and Anti-Virus protection definitions are current and remain current at all times. The latest Microsoft patch for this threat (Microsoft Security Bulletin MS08-067) was first available in October 2008 and repair tools are currently available on industry leading Anti-Virus vendor websites.
